About GCRV Inspections LLC

I live in Tacoma, WA, and I am a certified NRVIA inspector serving all of the GREAT Pacific Northwest including the greater Seattle/Tacoma area, Western Washington and all of Washington, Oregon, Idaho Montana and Wyoming. I am actually willing to travel as far as needed in order to provide your RV inspection services. GCRV Inspections opened in August, 2017, I am the most senior RV inspector in the Pacific NW and I have successfully performed hundreds of inspection at this point. I have also worked on projects with FEMA and their disaster-relief efforts to get people into temporary housing when they have been displaced by the disaster.

To date, I have yet to perform an inspection on a used or brand new coach where there wasn't something that needed to be addressed. Sometimes it's only minor items, but even on brand new coaches I have found major issues such as propane leaks, trim around a slide out pulled from the sidewall of the coach, sealant issues, just to name a few. And this is after the dealerships have performed their PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) which is their sign-off that the coach is 100% ready to go. So having your coach inspected by an independent inspector such as myself is your first line of defense when purchasing an RV and helping you to protect your investment.

In addition to RV inspection services, I offer fluid analyses for your motorhome/drivable RV, as well for your tow vehicle to help you get an understanding of the overall 'health' of the drive components and generator. These are something that I highly recommend with any used, or new, RV purchase regardless of the age as you will learn a lot about the current condition of the engine, coolant, transmission and generator. People tend to think that not using it, and their coach having low miles on it, is a good thing, which it's really not. People also think that low hours on the generator is a good thing, when in actuality it's just the opposite. It would certainly be better to find out what, if any, concerns there might be now rather than down the road. One of the biggest reasons I recommend them on a used coach is because we don't know the history of when, or if, these fluids have been changed. People are usually pretty good about the oil, but much less so with the coolant and transmission fluids, and even less conscious of the generator fluids. These analyses are truly like us going to the doctor to have blood work done and you would potentially learn a lot more from them than what a mechanic would be able to tell you.

I love RVing and the RV industry, and I enjoy helping people buy and/or sell their RV! In addition to RV inspection services and fluid analyses, I also offer orientations, what I call "So What Now?," to help you learn how to set up and use your new or new-to-you RV and make it a lot of fun! I certainly enjoy doing them with you! I would spend as little or as much time with you and go at a pace that you are comfortable with. We will perform your orientation at an RV park or campground so you can learn in a real-life setting, and you'll get so much more out of it than you would within the 1-2 hours a dealership or private party current owner might spend with you!

I am constantly learning about new things in the industry and about RVs in general to ensure that I am able to provide you with the most comprehensive inspection and report possible. I perform inspect all types and kinds of RV including Class A, Class B & Class C gas and diesel motorhomes, 5th-wheels, travel trailers, popups and truck bed campers.

I am honored and humbled that I have received nothing but 5-star reviews on Google which you can easily read if you search for GCRV Inspections on Google.

The purchase of an RV is much like purchasing a home, and you wouldn’t purchase a home without an inspection, right? It has all of the same components (a roof, heating and air conditioning, plumbing, etc.) but it comes in a smaller package. And if it is a motorhome you are also adding all of the components of a vehicle (chassis, engine, brakes, tires, etc.) Just think of all of the possibilities for there to be some defects that may not be readily apparent to the untrained eye.

A full and proper inspection by a trained NRVIA inspector is your first defense against purchasing something that is, or potentially is, going to cost you a lot more than you had expected and/or that you are going to regret. A third-party, unbiased inspection will give you the peace of mind on your investment.
