Jeff tried to steal my RV. I am a travel nurse and I live in my rig. I authorized a gray tank repair for 4.5k and he tried to lie to my insurance company and then did about $3.5k of unauthorized work. When I arrived to pick it up, all of a sudden he told me he would only take cash and I had to call the police to get my home back. I had all 7.5k he asked for and he just wouldn’t take my money and said he was keeping the rig.

The long version: I took my rig in for repairs on my gray tank. I told Jeff that if he did a good job I would come back later for maintenance work under my extended warranty and a solar installation. Jeff kept pressuring me to complete the additional repairs immediately despite the fact I told him I didn’t have the money to do it at the same time, and would not take no for an answer. I also had some damage to my jack and I offered to pay for that out of pocket same day, but Jeff said he would try to get my warranty to cover it.

When I arrived to drop off my RV for my gray tank repair, Jeff said he was going on vacation and he wanted to run the warranty claim for processing. I said he could call them, but I wouldn’t be able to do those repairs even with the insurance for several months after the gray tank repair.

When Jeff called my warranty people, he put incorrect dates all over the claim and my insurance denied it. When Jeff hung up on the phone, he began shouting at me about how he was going to look like he was committing fraud if he tried to correct the error, and I had to talk Jeff down like a child throwing a tantrum. I assured Jeff that I would still be able to pay for the repairs out of pocket, but that he should do his best with my insurance and we would circle back to schedule further repairs when I picked the rig up from the gray tank repair.

A few days later, I got a text message from a tech informing me that much of the maintenance work was in process, and Jeff never informed his team that I did not intend to do that work at that time.

Several days after, I received a ranting multi-page email from Jeff ranting that he had taken my statement that I have a good job and would still do the repair despite his mistakes as permission to simply complete the additional 3.5k of repair work immediately. When I said I wouldn’t pay for unauthorized work, Jeff tried to claim his mistake with my warranty company was somehow fraud on my part and told me to just pay him and move on. When I indicated I would make a civil suit out of his actions, Jeff stated he would not accept my payment and he intended to keep my RV.

I verified these additional repairs were NOT on the estimate Jeff sent just prior to my repair, and Jeff admitted in writing he simply assumed I wanted to complete all that work despite dozens of statements on my part I needed that to be a second repair once I am able to schedule more hours at work. I also contacted my insurance company and discussed what happened with them, and they assured me I did nothing at all wrong as far as they’re concerned.

I live in my rig so I’m pressing charges for performing unauthorized work, and then attempting to retain my vehicle and refuse payment. I contacted the police, and they informed me that if Jeff would not accept payment he would be arrested for felony theft of a motor vehicle. Police were able to get Jeff to eventually accept payment, despite the dozen messages he sent me assuring me he would bleed every penny out of my account in cash that he could and would not return the rig until I paid him for whatever he asked. I was eventually able to get my RV back, but it took several hours, three police officers, and the threat of a civil suit to get Jeff to allow me to pay.

Don’t go to Jeff. Jeff is a liar and a cheat. When Jeff makes mistakes, he will throw a tantrum and blame the customer. I’ve had to talk him down from a tantrum or ask the police to talk him down from a tantrum on more than one occasion. I definitely will not return to this business in the future, and you probably shouldn’t either. I was supposed to pay 4.5k today, and I forked out closer to 7.5k. I will not get reimbursed by insurance, because Jeff doesn’t know what he’s doing.

No longer a mobile service, but awesome experience. Great to work with, was very honest about what I needed and what I didn’t, and did exactly what he said he would do during the projected timeline. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.
