Hello everyone. It's Jason again with myRVresource.com, it's like the Yellow Pages for RV services. Check out this water leak from a new RV found during my RV inspection.
Today I'm inspecting a brand new fifth wheel that was sold at the 2023 RV Super Show here in Tampa. Let's just look at the manufacture date real quick just to show you that. Right there you see 12/9/22 today is actually Lisa and my anniversary, it's January 30th. We're out here inspecting this RV. Now this inspection got rescheduled from Friday because it was in a service Bay where they were having it pdi'd and fixing all the issues from the show. I can't do the inspection while there's other people working on it so we rescheduled it. Today it's Monday of the following week and just want to show you one of the things that they missed that I mean it's pretty simple.
Let's look at it and we can see that puddle of water under the RV. Right in this area is where the shower is and right in this area is where your waste tanks are and we can see that water is dripping out of the belly of this after I've done my interior water inspection. So what that tells us is there is a leak underneath of that belly or inside of that belly somewhere that we can't see. How did they miss that? It's because they don't do what we do folks.
You know a dealer will say anything to keep you from getting an inspection. Sometimes the latest line that I'm hearing is that RV inspectors don't know what they're doing. They don't have any training and things like that. I can guarantee you I have more certifications than 90% of the employees that work at these dealerships. I can also guarantee you I have one certification that none of these dealership techs or anybody in the dealership has because there's only four people in the country with it currently. Lisa and I are two of them and that is our Master Certified RV Inspector Certification. We find things that the dealership doesn't.
So with your weekly one reason to get an RV inspection this has been pdi'd we had to reschedule because of it and there's water leaking into the underbelly of this brand new fifth wheel that is less than 2 months old and and been through a PDI. So with that being said you have a nice day.
