Hello everyone! Jason here with myRVresource.com. It’s like the Yellow Pages for RV services. Today I'm coming to you with another Weekly One Reason to Get an RV Inspection. Let’s talk about a new RV with delaminated sidewalls.

Today we're inspecting a brand new RV. It's December of 2022 and this RV was built in April of 2022. So it's been sitting around for a while before it got sold. found a couple of major things that could change somebody's mind before purchasing this RV and I want to show it to you. This is something that you can look for before you hire your independent RV inspector. Lett's go around real quick and see the date of manufacture. Right there we see 4 27 2022.

Fifth wheels especially get a lot of stress right here in the area where the RV front cap curves. If you look at the sidewall from here you can’t see anything. When you walk up to the side of the RV can you see this RV has a delaminted sidewall. Right there it is and it goes all the way up. I can push on that and the RV delaminated sidewall is not vacuum sealed anymore. Has water gotten in there and separated the insulation from the exterior sidewall? Did this RV, during it’s travel twist and turn down the road and cause something more major behind the RV delaminated sidewall?

Now lets look at the streetside sidewall. Once again you see the same thing RV delaminated sidewall. It's on both sides. I think it's been from twisting and turning.

That RV delaminated sidewall means there's a gap between the insulation and the fiberglass sidewall. Is something loose behind there? Is there a broken weld? We don't know because we can't look up in there and see. We may be able to see something if we open our cargo bay here for the propane, but as we can see that bay is sealed off on this RV. We can try looking here in the front cargo bay. Really there's once again nothing we can see going on here.

So once again that's my Weekly One Reason to Get an RV Inspection. This is something you may not think to look for. If you're just looking at the sidewall from here you don't see the RV delaminated sidewall.

I'm Jason with myRVresource.com. That's your Weekly One Rreason to Get an RV Inspection. I’m trying to educate consumers of what to look for before they hiring an RV inspector to save you a little bit of time and money. You have a nice day.
