Hello everyone. It's Jason with myRVresource.com It's like the Yellow Pages for RV services. Today I'm coming at you with another Weekly One Reason To Get An RV Inspection. You wouldn’t expect a hole in the sidewall of your new RV, would you?
We are inspecting a brand new toy hauler that's a 45-footer I believe. We're going to go look at the manufacturer date real quick and then I'm going to show you what I found. Right there you can see this RV was built in July of 2022. It is February 2023. I have to go up the ladder to show you what we found. I'm on the curbside sidewall right in front of the curbside slideout. We don't want water to get in the sidewall so we definitely need to get something done about this big hole in the sidewall that I found. Let me put the camera up here and show you. As you can see, there's a big hole in the sidewall right at the top corner of the slide out. There is no awning topper which makes this much worse. If this hadn't been found during the RV inspection a few years down the road these folks may have been looking at some real problems. Hopefully, it would have happened before their structural warranty went out, but if it didn't it's a costly fix.
So with your Weekly One Reason To Get An RV Inspection it's Jason and you have a nice day.
